MISSION STATEMENT

CARR (Community At Risk Resources) has created educational tools to encourage healthier lifestyles.

Children At Risk Resources Foundation, Inc. has been a 501(c)3 since 2004. It was established to provide educational information that promotes smart choices for a healthier lifestyle.

CARR Foundaiton, Inc., started out providing originally created activity and coloring books for children regarding Diabetes Type 2, Bullying, Smoking, and Self-Esteem. From there, they created a video game, interactive DVDs and produced its own rap music songs and albums.

In 2015, CARR recognized the need to expand its efforts and target ages. They created a 12-page booklet for the age group of 8 – 80. It is a simple straight forward educational publication entitled: “My First Steps to Learning About Diabetes Type 2”. CARR also created and produced a Diabetes Bingo Game.

In late 2016, it became clear that CARR could build an entire training package into a one hour, one- time presentation for multi-level ethnic and age groups based solely on the diabetes type 2 booklet.

Since that time, CARR has created an associate entitled Community at Risk Resources and produced seven 3D animated videos and a commercial video promoting CARR’s digital/downloadable website.

CARR is looking for strategic alliances that will assist them in broadening their community involvement regarding the one-hour class portion of their organization. They will be adding a “My First Steps in Learning About Nutrition” and providing supporting videos in 2017. We feel we can be an effective association for an alliance.
